Your Pool. Our Passion
Your home pool
Lessons happen in familiar water, with no driving, no waiting room, and no crowded lesson deck. Comfort builds confidence faster.
Your community pool
We teach at neighborhood, HOA, and condo pools throughout Palm Beach County, subject to your community's guest and instructor rules.
How lessons work
Every family starts with an inquiry, not a checkout page. That short step is what lets us confirm the lesson can be taught safely before anyone books a time.
1. Tell us about your swimmer
Share the swimmer's age, your pool type, your goals, and the times that work for you. No street address needed to get started.
2. We confirm the details
We review your pool, access, and location to make sure lessons can be run safely and that you're inside our service area.
3. We schedule your lessons
Once everything checks out, we send you a booking link to lock in your times. Scheduling and payment are handled in one place.
Lesson types
Water safety for toddlers through stroke refinement for older children — taught one swimmer at a time.
Private 1-on-1 lessons
Undivided attention from your Rising Moon instructor, paced entirely to one swimmer — from first comfort in the water through stroke refinement.
At-home lessons
We travel to your backyard pool, so lessons happen in familiar water with no driving and no crowded lesson deck.
Community pool lessons
No pool of your own? We teach at neighborhood, HOA, and condo pools throughout Palm Beach County.
Safety comes first, every lesson
Teaching in private pools means safety is a shared responsibility. Here is what we hold ourselves to, and what we ask of you.
A pre-lesson check of pool depth, entry points, water clarity, and deck access before instruction begins.
A parent or guardian on the property for the full duration of every lesson with a minor.
Clear cancellation, weather, and lightning policies, shared with you in writing before your first lesson.
Instructor credentials & trust
Every lesson is led with verified safety qualifications, so you can feel confident opening your pool to us.
American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI)
The industry gold standard for swim instruction.
CPR, AED, and First Aid certified
Current certifications for responding to emergencies in and around the water.
Liability insurance
Full coverage for lessons taught at your home or community pool.
Background check
Completed and on file, so you always know who is teaching your swimmer.
Our approach
Founder-led instruction, built on trust
Rising Moon Swim Academy was founded on a simple idea: a nervous swimmer learns fastest when the water feels familiar and the instructor is patient. Every lesson is planned around one swimmer's pace, not a class schedule.

What families say
Real words from the families we teach, shared with their permission.
“She makes every swimming lesson feel safe and fun.”
Ms. Libby is absolutely wonderful! She is so warm, caring, and incredibly patient with my baby. I'm so grateful we found her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing swim instructor.
“After six lessons, they were able to swim the length of our pool!”
Miss Libby taught my 3½-year-old twin grandchildren to do strokes, kicks, and float on their backs. They knew basic moves, but she put it all together for them. After six lessons, they were swimming the length of the pool with minimal help!
“She comes right to our home and made our hesitant toddler confident in the water.”
Miss Libby comes right to our home to teach both of our children, and they absolutely love her! Our son was a little hesitant at first, but she quickly made him feel comfortable and confident. Now he even practices floating in the bathtub! Our daughter is making great progress with her strokes and diving. Miss Libby makes learning fun while building real skills.
