You don't need your own pool
If you have access to a neighborhood, HOA, condo, or apartment pool, your Rising Moon instructor can meet you there. It is the same one-on-one lesson as an at-home session, held in the pool your family already uses.
- Neighborhood and HOA pools
- Condo and apartment community pools
- Clubhouse and amenity-center pools
- Any pool where you are an approved resident or guest
Community rules come first
Every community sets its own rules for outside instructors, and we work inside them rather than around them. Checking this early is the single biggest reason a community-pool lesson runs smoothly.
- Confirm whether your community permits outside swim instructors
- Check guest sign-in, badge, or gate-access requirements
- Ask whether the community requires proof of insurance from the instructor
- Note lesson-friendly hours, since pools are busiest at midday and weekends
Choosing a good lesson time
Community pools are shared water. We help you pick a window where the pool is quiet enough to teach in, which usually means mornings or early afternoons on weekdays.
- A quieter pool means fewer distractions and better progress
- A shallow-end area we can work in without competing for space
- Shade or a break spot for younger swimmers between sets
- A parent or guardian present on the pool deck for the full lesson with a minor
Getting started
Tell us which community pool you have access to and we will confirm whether lessons can be run there safely and within your community's rules, before anything is booked. PLACEHOLDER — pricing and any community-specific requirements go here once you finalise them.
